The BRC/IOP standard (developed by the British Retail Consortium, in collaboration with the Institute of Packaging) aims to ensure the realization of a product hygienically safe, healthy and that may come into contact with food in order to protect the consumer. The key points of the standard are: - the adoption of a system of risk analysis (according to the HACCP method). - a documented technical management. - control of the production environment, processes, products and personnel. SIT Group considers the hygiene and food safety of its products the most important guarantee for the Customer, this is why it decided to certify all its plants through the following points: - Clear definition of all risk factors, specifications and the necessary controls. - Management of the structural characteristics of the production sites. - Management of any possible contaminants and critical control points. - Training and proper behaviour of the staff. |
